Granted by Florida Division of State Fire Marshal, Bureau of Fire Prevention (Department of Financial Services)
Individual qualifier authorized to lay out, fabricate, install, alter, repair, and inspect all fire protection system types except pre-engineered — water-based and chemical/clean-agent. Per F.S. 633.318 and FAC 69A-46.
Eligibility Requirements
Prerequisite: age 18, good moral character, and 4 years verifiable experience under a Contractor I or II (or equivalent education plus experience). NICET is NOT required or a substitute.
