About the Florida Fire Equipment Dealer — Portable / Pre-Engineered Licensee & Permittee
Granted by Florida Division of State Fire Marshal, Bureau of Fire Prevention
Portable Licensee (Class A, B or C) qualifies a dealer business to service, recharge, repair, install, inspect and hydrotest portable extinguishers within its class. Pre-Engineered (Class D) covers all types of pre-engineered fire extinguishing systems. A Licensee qualifies the business and supervises all work; a Permittee is the individual technician, limited to work no more extensive than the employing licensee.
