Is this the official ICC® exam?

No — this is independent study material that prepares you for the official ICC certification exam. You still sit the real exam through ICC and its testing partners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the International Code Council.

Which code cycle do your questions follow?

Some ICC exams are split into 2021 and 2024 code-cycle forms, and if yours is, you choose your cycle when you register. Our questions follow the 2021 cycle where a cycle applies. Check your exam registration for the code year (or confirm it is a "No Code Year" exam) before you start studying.

The exam is open book — why do I need practice questions?

Because the difficulty is finding and applying the right provision quickly, not recalling it. For I-Code-based exams, ICC also gives you a clean digital codebook at the exam with none of your own notes, bookmarks or tabs carried over, so speed of navigation is the skill that actually gets tested. Check your exam registration to see which references — and reference format — apply to your exam.

Do you provide the code books?

No. You bring your own references, and you should study from the same editions ICC lists for your exam and code cycle. Our questions cite the exact section so you can practise locating it in your own copy.

How often do you update the questions?

We revise the pool whenever ICC changes an exam reference list or the underlying codes are updated, so your practice stays aligned with the cycle you registered for.
